Freight to and from
Genoa.

A Genoa freight request must identify the port basin and terminal holding the goods. Genoa and Pra’ include different terminals and road gates. Match the shipping or terminal instruction to the container, trailer or other cargo unit before defining the inland road leg.

Every enquiry is assessed for route, cargo and partner suitability before quotation or booking.

A CLEARER STARTING POINT

Genoa. Use the gate that belongs to the cargo.

The Western Ligurian Sea Port System Authority publishes freight-access maps with separate gates in Genoa and Pra’. Its port information describes a multi-terminal system covering containers and specialist commodities. These official references make the named terminal and current gate essential enquiry fields; they do not confirm Freivio service or terminal access.

BUILD A BETTER ENQUIRY

Three decisions before you move.

01

Genoa basin or Pra’?

Name the terminal, operator and current freight gate from the booking instructions. Do not use a general port-authority address as the cargo location.

02

What unit and equipment are involved?

Specify container or trailer number, size, gross weight and cargo type. State whether a chassis, traction unit or another vehicle must be assessed.

03

Where does the unit go next?

Give the delivery address, unloading method and any empty-container or trailer return instructions, including a different depot when specified.

READY WHEN THE DETAILS ARE

Give your cargo a clear way forward.

Whether your cargo starts here or arrives here, a complete brief helps the operations desk assess the right scope.

QUESTIONS BEFORE THE NEXT STEP

Genoa freight questions.

Are Genoa and Pra’ the same freight collection point?

No. They are distinct parts of the port system with different terminals and gates. Follow the operator's instructions for your shipment.

Can I use the port authority office as the collection address?

No. Use the physical terminal and freight gate shown on the booking or release instruction.

Does the road quote include an empty-container return?

Only when it is defined and agreed. Supply the operator's return depot and equipment instructions so that leg can be assessed.
